The Marazul dive site offers an easy and pleasant multi-level dive with an opportunity to explore some interesting rock formations teeming with marine life. Divers will descend along the gigantic piles of rocks that range from 12-20m/39-65ft and go almost vertically down to a sandy bottom. There is a small cave in the piles of rocks that has been created by the constant distractive actions of the current. On their way down divers can discover a wide variety of small marine creatures hiding in many crevices in the rocks and throughout their dive they will see many shoals of interesting fish species. It is possible to dive at the Marazul dive site all year round, but the best diving conditions are during the summer, when the average water temperature is 24C/75F. During the winter months the average water temperature is 19C/66F. The marine life in and around the rocks is rich and diverse, including sea urchins, anemones, octopi, cuttlefish, damselfish, trumpetfish, bream, rays, morays, barracudas, turtles, and angel sharks.
