Pattaya scuba dive sites in Thailand

Pattaya (also known as the Wreck Diving Capital of Thailand) has a lot of great dive sites, including many historical wrecks, stunning coral gardens and abundant marine life – bamboo sharks, nudibranchs, nurse sharks, hawksbill turtles, barracuda, blue spotted sting rays, and seahorses. Great for macro photography and night diving.

Pattaya is a coastal city on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand, about 100 kilometers (62 miles) south-east of Bangkok. Pattaya boasts a 365-day diving season and more than 30 dive sites all reachable by day trip. The time of year will affect the visibility in the area, nevertheless, almost any time of the year will be a great opportunity to dive in and find schools of reef fish around the wrecks as well as interesting bottom dwellers and critters on the wreck structures and hidden among the reefs.
